Since 1982, Alaska Addiction Rehabilitation Services (AARS) has been serving adults struggling with substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring disorder. Our residential treatment facility and outpatient transitional houses are located on Nugen’s Ranch, more than 116 acres of farm land off Point Mackenzie Road in Wasilla, Alaska. Our treatment program provides a combination of twelve-step recovery, group and individual counseling, life skills training, and work therapy in a supportive climate. Click here for more details.
AARS’ mission is to provide client-centered quality residential (rehabilitative) treatment services to adults from all regions of the State of Alaska who have Substance Use Disorder and may have co-occurring mental illness.
Making the decision to begin your journey towards long-term sobriety can be difficult. Our high-quality treatment program includes individual, family and group counseling, a unique farm and work-therapy focus, and frequent recreational, vocational and educational opportunities. Daily attendance at AA/NA meetings helps clients develop a healthy network of recovery — and support that lasts a lifetime.
