About Us

Since 1982, Alaska Addiction Rehabilitation Services (AARS) has been serving adults struggling with substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring disorder. Our residential treatment facility and outpatient transitional houses are located on Nugen’s Ranch, more than 116 acres of farm land off Point Mackenzie Road in Wasilla, Alaska. Our Mission

AARS’ mission is to provide client-centered quality residential treatment services to adults living with substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders from all regions of the State of Alaska.

Who benefits from treatment at AARS?

  • Adults diagnosed with a substance-use disorder (SUD) and/or co-occurring disorder
  • People whose lives have been severely disrupted by the use of alcohol and/or drugs
  • Individuals who have had multiple admissions to detoxification units and have attempted treatment previously
