Duties

• Coordinate services related to addiction counseling, child welfare, Section 8 housing, Medicare, and workforce development programs.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to motivate clients toward positive change and sustained engagement.
• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure goals are met effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, healthcare providers, childcare specialists, and community organizations.
• Supervise junior staff or interns when applicable, providing guidance and mentorship to foster professional growth.

Skills

• Strong expertise in crisis management and crisis intervention strategies to handle urgent situations confidently.
• Knowledge of behavioral health issues, addiction counseling methods, and social work principles.
• Experience in supervising or mentoring team members or interns within social service settings.
• Familiarity with housing programs such as Section 8 and healthcare systems like Medicare.
