Clinician (Master’s Level)
Alaska Addiction Rehabilitation Services Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care for individuals on their journey to recovery from substances. Our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve, and we are seeking a skilled and empathetic Master’s Level Clinician to join our mission-driven team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, substance use disorder with a focus on providing support to individuals facing various challenges and dual diagnosis issues. As a Master’s Level Clinician, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their healing journey.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct direct services to include, individual and group sessions, utilizing techniques such as applied behavior analysis and crisis intervention.
- Conduct integrated Behavioral Health Assessments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of clients, ensuring comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all counseling sessions in compliance with organizational policies.
- Engage in research to stay updated on best practices in the field of counseling and behavioral health.
Minimum Qualifications and Required Skills and Abilities:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in individual group counseling and behavioral health settings.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and dual diagnosis care is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions.

Location: AARS, Pt. MacKenzie Road ***PLEASE NOTE*** AARS is 28 miles from downtown Wasilla.
Employment Status: Full-Time
Salary: $42.00 to $48.00 per hour (position also includes dental/life insurance, monthly gas stipend, 401K option, and health insurance reimbursement)
