Our Transitional Houses

Stable housing plays a vital role in people’s recovery from substance use disorders (SUDs). The lack of housing can lead to stress that puts added pressure on those trying to start a new, sober life. Without a safe place to live, SUD clients often go back to using alcohol or drugs to cope with the dangers of life on the streets.
AARS’ transitional housing and outpatient treatment opportunitites provides clients a safe, supportive home while they begin to live life sober. In 2022, AARS opened two on-site properties at its Point Mackenzie Road location to help with this transition: Mallott House (males) and Tuttle House (females).
If you were recently assessed at 2.1 Intensive Outpatient Services and have completed a residential treatment program, you can apply to receive our outpatient and transitional housing services. Email us to begin.
